Three people were charged after Weakley County sheriff's deputies and Martin police found finished methamphetamine while executing a search warrant Tuesday.

The search warrant was executed at 200 Hamm Road, located near Highway 22 at the Industrial Road exit in Martin, the Weakley County Sheriff's Department reported.

Arrested were two men both charged with manufacture of methamphetamine, promotion of meth manufacture, possession of Schedule II with intent to resale, possession of marijuana and aggravated child abuse; and and one woman charged with manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of Schedule II with intent to resale, possession of marijuana and promotion of meth manufacture.

The child abuse charge was levied against two of the suspects because a 3-year-old child had been present when meth was allegedly made in the house, the sheriff's department reported.

In addition, Payne was served with an additional active warrant for violation of probation from Circuit Court.

Officers from the sheriff's department and the Martin Police Department made entry into the Hamm Road residence Tuesday and allegedly caught three people with finished methamphetamine. Officers also found equipment and ingredients in various stages of methamphetamine production, according to a sheriff's department news release.

A meth lab response truck from the Tennessee Meth Task Force assisted in the lab cleanup.
